Bro. Joey recognized Johnny & Evelyn Hopkins for their years of ministry at Hopewell Road. Bro. Johnny was presented with a plaque in appreciation for his dedication and service to the church. Bro. Joey presented Sis. Evelyn with a piece of framed art depicting a missionaries heart. Sis. Evelyn truly has a heart for missions. Bro. Johnny feels the call of God leading him in a different path at this time. They have served this church and been a part of this family for over 43 years.

Wednesday Night "Hour of Power"

Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things you do not know."

Wednesday night’s “Hour of Power” has been such a blessing to me. I look forward to the prayer class with Sis. Becky. God is breaking our hearts for what breaks His. In the past few weeks we’ve been inspired by the DVD on prayer with Pastor Jim Cymbala, encouraged by awesome testimonies, and moved by God’s living Word. In this class, we are learning about obedience in prayer, intercessory prayer, praying God’s Word, and having relationship with God through prayer. It is powerful! God wants to be mighty in our lives, our families, and in our church. There is nothing too hard for God. He’s still working and perfecting that which concerns us. (Ps. 138:8)
