Thanksgiving at McAdory Elementary School

We were privileged to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner at McAdory Elementary School. Sis. Joyce Hocutt who is the manager of their lunchroom invited us to join her. It was an amazing homemade Thanksgiving dinner. Homemade dressing, rolls, beans, sweet potato casserole, apples, & sugar cookies. We had a great time. FANTASTIC! Thanks Sis. Joyce.

The ladies gathered together to celebrate the 50th birthday of our Family Ministries Pastor, Becky Mojica. She is also our Ladies Ministry Minister. We appreciate all her hard work, and she is an inspiration & blessing to all of us.

We had an amazing time at Ladies Retreat at Lake Barkley in Kentucky. We were challenged in every class & every service & every prayer group by the WORD of the Lord, challenged to be prayer warriors in this spiritual war, challenged to go to battle for our lost family, friends, & community. It is time to AWAKE!

A faithful warrior has gone home. We will greatly miss Bro. Reece Scurlock. He exemplified faithfulness and strength found in Christ alone. Let us all stedfastly lift Sis. Betty and Kevin to the Lord in prayer for the comfort and presence of the love of Jesus to surround them both.

We are so thankful for the presence of the Lord felt in our service today. Bro. Doug ministered the Word of God with power and anointing. The Lord richly blessed as several were baptized in water. How great is our God!

Heritage Celebration

Praise God for an amazing day. The Lord truly blessed us today. Thanks to everyone who participated in our Blood Drive. The LifeSouth Bus was with us, & we doubled their expectations for donations. Triumphant Sounds from Sterrett COGOP ministered to all present. The presence of the Lord could be felt all over the building. We are thankful for the opportunity to worship with this anointed group. The food was wonderful, and there was a multitude of terrific door prizes. A special thanks to Bettye & Wayne Fluker who worked tirelessly soliciting donations and organizing the dinner. They did an outstanding job. The Lord greatly blessed their efforts. Also thanks to all who helped in the kitchen & with clean-up. A Blessed Day!

We were so thankful that Sis. Ysabel was able to join us in Ladies Bible Study this past Wednesday evening. Please pray for a healing touch for Bro. Mojica in your prayers and pray for strength and encouragement for Sis. Ysabel.
